| Stauros U.S.A. cooperates with Catholic Theological Union, of Chicago in offering our Access to the Land program, a unique opportunity for Bible study in the Holy Land designed especially for persons living with physical disabilities. |
Stauros U.S.A, is a non-profit organization committed to finding meaning, hope, and peace in the midst of suffering, to nurture dialogue concerning suffering, to create opportunities for prayer, retreat, and reflection, to advocate with persons that live with disabilities and suffering, and to build bridges of compassion to all who suffer, caregivers, and the helping professions. Catholic Theological Union of Chicago (CTU), the largest Roman Catholic school of theology and ministry in the United States, has been conducting biblical study programs in the Holy Land for its students men and women religious, lay women and men, for over 25 years. |

Open to all Persons Living with Physical Disabilities, especially:
|
- those actively engaged in parish ministry
- Bible study and prayer group leaders
- those who wish to deepen their understanding of the Bible
|
|
Open to spouses, family members, friends, or to any persons who wish to serve as personal care attendants.
|
|
Note: A limited number of attendants will be available for those who are unable to provide an attendant. Because of limited space, other able-bodied applicants cannot be accepted. Conditions for travel set some limits on the types and number of disabilities that can be accommodated.
